Repeat Course Appeal Form

*An appeal is only required when a course is being requested for a third or greater attempt.

If you registered for an course and later withdrew, this is considered an attempt.

Beginning Fall 2012 a student may attempt a course a maximum of two times. A student’s request to enroll in a course for the third time or greater must be the result of extenuating or unusual circumstances. The Coordinator of Student Affairs and the Repeat Course Appeal Committee will review the student’s appeal and notify them of the decision. A decision may take up to 10 business days. In addition, some appeals may be granted with specific conditions ex. (tutoring contract, attendance contract, credit hour limit etc).

It is not necessary for you to submit a Repeat Course Appeal form because you have indicated that you have only taken this course once before.

For a second attempt:
Please exit this form and contact the Admissions and Advising office at 269-782-1499 and request a “repeat override.”
