Southwestern Michigan College’s Academic Forgiveness program is designed to give a fresh start to students who have been away from the college for a period of at least five years or more and who return with the intent of completing a degree or certificate. This application initiates your request to have unsatisfactory grades excluded from the calculation of your overall grade point average (GPA). Please know that all course attempts and grades, whether forgiven or not, are computed into financial aid calculations for aid eligibility.
